The Kim Turner Family Award is an annual NKU scholarship for a student parent in need of assistance. This scholarship can be used toward tuition, books, and/or school supplies. Applicants must be enrolled full-time at Northern Kentucky University. Established in 2003, the Patsy Takemoto Mink Foundation Scholarship aims to carry on some of Congresswoman Mink's most ardent commitments: educational access, support, and opportunity for low-income women, especially mothers; and educational enrichment for children. The CARE Closet @ NKU has free gently used clothing, coats and other items for students! To request clothes, please complete the referral form below. Items will be available for pick up on the 2nd Floor of the Health Innovation Center (HE 221) within 2 weeks. The new location is coming to campus in 2021. The CARE Closet is a volunteer based, not-for-profit clothing closet that allows students to “shop” for items they need at no cost. Until they can operate from their new space in the University Center, they will be open for business virtually.
