Access to affordable, quality child care is challenging for many families, especially when one or both parents are attending college. NKU addresses this struggle through the on-campus Early Learning Campus, which offers multiple programs for children ages 1-6. The center follows the University calendar and is open Monday through Friday, 7:00a until 6:00p. Student pricing varies based on eligibility for the PELL Grant. Even with a discount, child care can still be expensive for some. In the Parents Attending College office, you can learn about eligibility for the Kentucky Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP), which operates through the Kentucky Child Care Council and our CCAMPIS grant, which can cover up to 100% of your child's tuition. The Parents Attending College coordinator will walk you through the application process.
