Which skills are you expecting to sharpen?
I am expecting to sharpen my communication skills, especially adapting how I communicate with different people, along with improving my active listening, questioning techniques, and relationship-building skills. I also want to improve my problem-solving and needs analysis skills so I can better understand what others need and respond in a way that adds real value.
How do you think it will benefit you in the future?
I think this experience will benefit me in the future by helping me become more confident in how I communicate and work with others. It will strengthen my ability to listen, ask the right questions, and understand different perspectives, which are important skills in any professional setting. Overall, it will better prepare me to build strong relationships, adapt to new situations, and add value in my future career.
Why did you join Haile Ambassadors?
I wanted to become a Haile Ambassador because I want to help people in any way I can by talking about my personal experiences and meeting new people to learn about their lives. There are many events I can sign up for to guide others and also network, which makes me excited to be part of the Haile Ambassadors.
Which skills are you expecting to sharpen?
I am excited to strengthen my people skills by using my critical thinking skills when talking to others and improving my active listening skills so I can truly get to know the people around me.
How do you think it will benefit you in the future?
I think I will meet people who become significant in my life and also be introduced to many incredible opportunities.
As a Haile Ambassador for the College of Business, I see my role as an opportunity to be the face of the college and share the fantastic things it offers. It’s about connecting with amazing people, taking part in meaningful activities such as workshops and recruitment events, and sharing the outstanding accomplishments of our college. I have gained a great deal of knowledge and experience from the Haile College of Business, and I am excited to express my appreciation as a student. As a Haile Ambassador, it’s not just about how I can help the college—it’s about how the college has helped me in my educational journey, and I’m excited to share that passion with others.
This program is a life-changing experience that allows me to expand my network and build meaningful connections. Through engaging with a wide range of individuals—including classmates, faculty, prospective students, and their parents—I hope to grow my communication skills and effectively articulate my ideas in an engaging manner. These interactions have not only enhanced my public speaking abilities but have also strengthened my confidence. As a student looking for direction and connection early in my college experience, joining Haile Ambassadors became a defining step in my growth. Through this experience, I was able to build strong connections within the Haile College of Business and the broader business community, which ultimately helped lead me to my first internship at Western & Southern Financial Group.
This experience allowed me to gain confidence in professional settings, strengthen my communication skills, and engage directly with faculty, employers, and peers. It also gave me the opportunity to give back by assisting with mock interviews, supporting professional development activities, and interacting with incoming and prospective students.
Helping students navigate questions about NKU, business majors, and campus involvement has been incredibly rewarding and has reinforced my desire to support others as they begin their own academic and professional journeys.

It’s a unique opportunity to make an impact and help others as they make important decisions about their education, while also growing personally and professionally.

I’m looking forward to sharpening my leadership, communication, and teamwork skills through participating in events and working closely with other ambassadors. I’m also excited to strengthen my networking skills, especially in recruitment settings. As a marketing major, understanding how to engage with different audiences and effectively convey key messages is essential.
How do you think it will benefit you in the future?
This experience will benefit me by giving me hands-on practice in relationship-building and marketing—two critical areas in my field. By learning how to represent the college and connect with others, I’ll be better prepared for roles where I need to engage audiences, build connections, and promote ideas or brands. These skills will be key in my future marketing career.

I joined Haile Ambassadors because I wanted to be more engaged within the College of Business while also representing NKU in a meaningful way. I' m passionate about leadership, networking, and service, and I knew this organization would give me the chance to grow in all those areas while connecting with students, faculty, and alumni.

I' m especially focused on improving my public speaking and overall communication skills. I believe that being able to speak with confidence in front of peers, professionals, and larger audiences will strengthen my presence as a student leader and prepare me for my future career in business management.
